Music in Nursery

We place a huge importance on music in early years. Singing is something we do in bucket loads in nursery. Singing plays an important part in helping children learn to read later on so we daily rhymes, topic songs as well as dough disco session and Laulau song drawing  session. 

We have instruments in provision as well as access to our wonderful music studio to further develop our muscianship skills. 

Spring 1

The ryhmes we are learned so far are 3 Blind Mice, Little Arabella Miller, Zoom Zoom Zoom and Incey Wincey Spider. We sing these everyday and perform them on a Friday to our classmates. 

We have been lucky enough to have been bought some new instruments in early years. 

the children have enjoyed exploring the beautiful wooden instruments that will help to develop their muscianship skills. 

 Laulau has been super exciting this week. We have been practising our circles.
