Educational visit to Cliffe Castle
Year 3 were excited to visit Cliffe Castle where they became geologists and palaeontologists for the day! During the trip, the children explored rocks, fossils, and learned about the history of our planet. They investigated different types of rocks, discovered how fossils are formed, and took part in fun hands-on activities that helped them understand what life was like millions of years ago. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn outside the classroom and developed their scientific and geographic curiosity.

Educational visit to a Mosque
Year 3 visited a local mosque as part of our learning about different religions and cultures. The visit took place during the holy month of Ramadan, giving the children a special opportunity to learn about how Muslims practice their faith at this important time. During the visit, pupils explored the mosque, learnt about daily prayers, and heard about the significance of Ramadan, including fasting, kindness, and community. This experience helped develop the children’s understanding, respect, and appreciation of different beliefs and traditions.
