Week 1/2
The Three Little Pigs.
We are very excited to be back with another mission from fairy tale land. This time there is another villain who keeps huffing and puffing and blowing down houses. We decided to share our ideas around who this could be and make some pictures. Our ideas included witches, ogres, trolls and wolves.
We will be helping the people of fairy tale land this half term, completing challenges and helping to restore order in the land of make believe.
A few days later we had another letter declaring the villain to be a wolf, the 3 pigs were very scared and they asked us to make posters to put up around fairy tale land to warn people of the wolf.
Chicks
The eggs have arrived! We are super excited to watch the development and see what hatches.
Planting and exploring with Joel
We were lucky enough to have a whole morning with Joel this week. He took us on an adventure, planting potatoes, runner beans and broad beans. We then went to the poly tunnel and tried an array of produce that is fresh and tasty.
Week 3
Our chicks are continuing to grow and change, the children have shared their ideas around the changes.
The wings are not fluffy now they are feathers - Jacob
They are getting bigger - Genevieve
They are noisy and jumpy with scratchy feet - Hayah Noor
We have enjoyed holding them and stroking them. We have been amazed by the awe and wonder of hatching chicks from eggs and seeing it happen before our eyes.
VE DAY CELEBRATIONS
We celebrated VE day this week. We made scones and party hats and then we enjoyed a picnic in the garden whilst we heard 1940's songs being sung by an Opera singer.
We waved our flags and has a great time.

We have continued working on our text. We have been drawing the story, exploring the small world and using our building area to create lots of houses.
We enjoyed our half term learning all about the 3 Little Pigs. We were busy builders learning all about the best material to build houses with.
