Our Autumn Term Journey

KS1

Autumn One

In KS1 PE this half term we are learning about Athletics. We will develop our ability to run at different speeds and recognise the difference between walking, jogging and sprinting. We will also improve our ability to jump for height and distance and develop our understanding of how to land safely.

LKS2

Autumn One

In LKS2 PE this half term we are learning about Striking and Fielding Games. We will develop our bowling, fielding and batting skills so that we can use them in game situations. We will also develop our cooperation skills, exploring how working as a team helps to prevent the opposition from scoring runs.

UKS2

Autumn One

In UKS2 PE this half term we are learning about Net and Wall Games. We will develop our ability to use a bat or racquet to strike a ball or shuttlecock with accuracy and control. We will also improve our ability to accurately serve underarm, build a rally with a partner and use a range of shots in a game situation.
